I want to continue being a voice for working class people to the City Council.

When my abuelito moved to Providence in 1988, he had a dream and a vision. That vision is still here in our neighborhood at 802 Atwells Ave. My grandfather then went on to help friends and family do the same while also establishing a local Mexican soccer league with fellow community members.

The Providence my Abuelito left behind is struggling. Rents are soaring and our neighbors are being priced out. Immigrant and working families can’t make the kind of life here that my Abuelito did. That’s why I am running for reelection. Providence is at a breaking point. We can continue being a City that caters to wealthy developers or we can stabilize rent, create pathways for home ownership for renters, and build truly affordable housing.
